How to Use Subject Pronouns in a Compound Subject

A compound subject is made up of two or more nouns or pronouns. We can use plural subject pronouns in place of compound subjects.

The subject pronoun in a compound subject is joined by Conjunctions such as ‘or’, ‘and’, ‘nor’ etc. When a subject pronoun is connected by ‘or’ or ‘nor’ conjunctions, the verb follows the closest subject.
